APPROVE the Right of Way Contract, dated November 2, 2010, and ACCEPT the Grant
Deed from Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation, for 34 Drake Street, Antioch,
Assessor’s Parcel No. 067-283-012. (District V)
AUTHORIZE the Public Works Director, or designee, to execute said Right of Way
Contract on behalf of Contra Costa County (County).
APPROVE payment of $130,000 for property rights payable by the Contra Costa
Transportation Authority (CCTA) to North American Title Company, through wire
instructions to: Comerica Bank Escrow Account, 2321 Rosecrans Avenue, Suite 5000, El
Segundo, CA 90245; Federal Routing No. 121137522; Credit Account No. 1893547024;
County and Branch No.: 54702; Attention: Leslie Stewart phone (925) 927-6990 for Escrow
No. 54705-827240-08.
DIRECT the Real Property Division to have the above referenced Grant Deed delivered to
the Title Company for recording in the Office of the County Recorder.

Subject:State Route 4 (E) Widening – Somersville Rd. to Route 160 Project, Antioch area. Project No. 4660-6X4168,
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no impact to the County General Fund. The activity is funded by CCTA (100%)
(ACQ/3540). SCH No. 2004092135.
BACKGROUND:
These property rights are required for the State Route 4 (E) Widening – Somersville
Road to Route 160 Project in accordance with the approved plans and specifications. On
June 27, 2006, this Board approved the State Route 4 East widening project and adopted
the Negative Declaration and Finding of No Significant Impact pertaining to this project.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The project will not have sufficient land rights to allow construction in accordance with
the approved plans and specifications and the tenants will not have the rights to occupy
the property.
CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT:
Not Applicable.
