President , and Marcus Van Hala , Chair , Old Jail Project
Steering Committee , Contra Costa Alliance for the Arts ,
(CCAFTA) P .O . Box 543, Martinez 94553, acknowledging the
end of the 18 month lease option for the old County Jail
and informing the Board of their forthcoming meetings ,
after which the recommendations of the CCAFTA Board of
Directors will be forwarded to the Internal Operations
Committee for consideration .

that the Board authorize adequate funding and staffing to
ensure that the Plan is completed on a timely basis .

$30,000 allocation for renovation of inpatient psychiatric
wards at the County Hospital and requesting reinstatement
of the full $60,000 allocation originally budgeted for said
renovation .

intent to drill a single exploratory gas well on Bethel
Island and requesting the Board' s assistance in expediting
this matter .

elimination and transmitting a questionnaire on the impor-
tance of general revenue sharing funds to the County.

3.9 Decision dated January 39 1985 of the State Public
Utilities Commission authorizing the City of Richmond to
construct new railroad at grade street crossing (new
Marina Bay Boulevard) and close existing crossing (South
