HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 12072010 - C.11RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE Appropriation Adjustment No. 5009 authorizing the transfer of appropriations in the amount of $31,185 from the Office of the Sheriff (0255) to General Services (0080) for renovations to offices located at 651 Pine Street-11th Floor, Martinez. FISCAL IMPACT: This action transfers existing appropriations in the amount of $31,185 from the Office of the Sheriff operating budget to the General Services Department. BACKGROUND: In December 2009, the Sheriff's Inspection and Control Division moved from 724 Escobar Street, Martinez to 651 Pine Street-11th Floor, Martinez. This move is projected to save the Office of the Sheriff $31,185 in rent expense at the old location. The rent savings of $31,185 is being transferred to offset a portion of the renovation cost of the relocation, as directed by the General Services Department.
