ADOPT attached Resolution No. 2010/577 establishing revised appropriation limits for the
County General, County Special Districts, and County Service Areas for fiscal year
2010/2011, as recommended by the Auditor-Controller.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Adopting the appropriations limits allows the County to spend its proceeds of taxes. All of
the attached fiscal year 2010/2011 limits exceed expected proceeds of taxes, except for
County Service Area R-7A (CSA R-7A). CSA R-7A is in the process of going out for a
voter approved override.
BACKGROUND:
The attached resolution is required by Section 7910 of the Government Code and is
calculated by the County Auditor-Controller. It is required that the governing body of each
local jurisdiction shall establish an appropriation limit for each jurisdiction pursuant to
Article XIII-B.
Resolution 2010/360 approved by the Board of Supervisors on 06/22/10 is revised to correct
