HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 11232010 - C.69RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Employment & Human Services Department Director, or designee, to execute a contract amendment with First Baptist Church of Pittsburg, California to reduce the days of operation from 246 days to 245 days for State Preschool & Pre-kindergarten Literacy services with no change to the payment limit of $825,442 or term July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011. FISCAL IMPACT: No fiscal impact attributable to this amendment BACKGROUND: The purpose of the amendment is to reduce the required days of operation by one day (from 246 to 245 days). The original contract was put in place before the Contractor's school calendar had been established. Upon completion of the school calendar, it was discovered that the required days of operation as currently stated, exceeds the number of days that school will be in session. This amendment re-aligns the required days of operation with the finalized school calendar.
