Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution No. 20865 to add one Administrative Aide- Project
(AP73) position (represented) at salary level B85 0972 ($2797 - $4339) in the Health
Services Department.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Upon approval, this action will result in an annual cost of approximately $87,386 including
pension cost of $17,392. Funding is available through Mental Health realignment. However,
once this position is filled, an Intermediate Typist Clerk - Project position will be cancelled.
The net cost will be approximately $16,133, including pension cost of $3,704 annually.
BACKGROUND:
This position is needed to provide administrative support to the Program Manager who
oversees the Mental Health Provider Network. Duties include facilitating the process of
credentialing and contracting with over 300 licensed clinicians; working closely with
potential providers throughout the process to ensure the required documents are completed
and submitted to the

contracts with providers and renewing over 300 contracts annually using the online
Contracts and Grants application and tracking them throughout the process; and verifying
each contract to ensure accuracy of term, rates, and payment limits.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If the recommendation is not approved, services may be adversely impacted.
