HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 11092010 - C.49RECOMMENDATION(S): DECLARE as surplus and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to dispose of miscellaneous computer equipment no longer needed for public use as recommended by the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District. FISCAL IMPACT: There is no fiscal impact associated with approval of the recommended action. BACKGROUND: Section 1108-2.212 of the County Ordinance Code authorizes the Purchasing Agent to dispose of any personal property belonging to the County and determined by the Board of Supervisors not to be required for public use. The property for disposal is either obsolete, worn out, beyond economical repair, or damaged beyond repair as noted on the attached correspondence from the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Contra Costa County Fire Protection District would not be able to dispose of the miscellaneous computer equipment.
