HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 11092010 - C.44RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Patricia Tanquary) to execute on behalf of the County, Contract #27-144-14 with Patrick Dixon, Ph.D., MFT, a self-employed individual, in an amount not to exceed $130,000, to provide professional outpatient psychotherapy services for the Contra Costa Health Plan for the period from October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2012. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Contra Costa Health Plan (Health Plan) member premiums. Costs depend upon utilization. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: The Health Plan has an obligation to provide certain specialized professional health care services for its members under the terms of their Individual and Group Health Plan membership contracts with the County. In October 2008, the County Administrator approved and the Purchasing Services Manager executed Contract #27-144-13 with Patrick Dixon, Ph.D., MFT, for the period from October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2010, to provide outpatient psychotherapy services.
