HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 11092010 - C.34RECOMMENDATION(S): ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 20852 to add five (5) Information Systems Technician II (LTVB) (represented) positions at salary level QS5 1496 ($4699.58 - $5712.37) in the Health Services Department. FISCAL IMPACT: Upon approval, this action will result in an annual cost of approximately $556,734, including $114,475 in pension costs. 100% of the cost will be offset by Federal "Hi Tech" Revenue and state MHSA revenue. BACKGROUND: These new positions are needed to help with the implementation project for certified electronic health record technology and are critical in order to secure funding, meet target implementation time frames and comply with federal mandates to prevent reductions of Medicare reimbursements. The positions will be assigned to the Information Technology Divisions' help desk and will be responsible for the primary screening and troubleshooting of all hardware and software related problems, as well as providing accurate information and problem resolution for customers.
