HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 11092010 - C.33RECOMMENDATION(S): Adopt Position Resolution No. 20859 to add one Health Plan Member Services Counselor (V9VE ) position at salary level QT5 1182 ($3443.78 - 4185.94) in the Health Services Department. FISCAL IMPACT: Upon approval, this action will result in an annual cost of approximately $84,706 including annual pension costs of $16,777. Funding is available through increased revenue generated by the addition of approximately 1,000 new Healthy Family members, as well as the ongoing growth in the Medi-Cal population. BACKGROUND: This position will be assigned to the Contra Costa Health Plan's Member Services Unit and is needed to provide services to the increasing number of members in the Health Plan. Currently, the unit has 5 Counselor positions but with the addition of approximately 1000 new Health Family members as well as the ongoing 10% increase in the Medi-Cal population, an additional position is needed to address increased workload.
