Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf
of the County, Contract #23–419–5 with Perseus Corporation, a corporation, in an amount
not to exceed $132,500, to provide consultation and technical assistance to the Health
Services Department with regard to third party cost reports, for the period from November
1, 2010 through October 31, 2011.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I. (No rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
On November 3, 2009, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #23–419–4 with
Perseus Corporation, for the period from November 1, 2009 through October 31, 2010, for
the provision of consultation and technical assistance with regard to preparation and
submission of third party cost reports including acting as the primary liaison between the
Health Services Department and the State and Federal government with regard to all
interactions, audits, review of
