(no County Match) FISCAL IMPACT: $56,500 new revenue to the County's Animal Benefit Fund; no County match. BACKGROUND: On June 12 of 2010 the Animal Services Department participated in a special Adoptathon sponsored by Maddie's Fund. Maddie's Fund donate $500.00 BACKGROUND: (CONT'D) to the Department for each animal adopted on June 12, 2010. The Department was able to adopt out a total of 113 animals on June 12, 2010, and subsequently received from Maddie's Fund a check in the amount of $56,500.00 CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Unable to accept donated money.
