to the fullest extent prohibited by applicable law, arising out of or connected with this
Agreement or the parties' action pursusant to this Agreement.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no net impact to the Department of Child Support Services budget. All funds
received from the Interagency Agreement will be paid to the vendor for services delivered
to the contracting Agency. The Department of Child Support Services is acting as fiscal
intermediary.
BACKGROUND:
The Employment and Income Verification Reports will provide information to the Agency
consisting of the name of the Non Custodial Parents' employer and income earned. This will
enable their Agency to issue an Income Withholding Order directly to the Employer and
result in Child Support payments to the Custodial Parent.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The County will lose an opportunity to receive quanity discount rates on services provided
to the Department.
CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT:
This Employment and Income and Verification service will result in Custodial Parents
receiving Child Support payments sent to them in a timely manner and free up the staff at
the Agency to pursue other tasks related to Child Support enforcement.
