HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 10192010 - C.26RECOMMENDATION(S): ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 20847, to add two permanent-intermittent Registered Dental Assistant (V9WG) positions at salary level QB5-1085 ($3,128-$3,802) and one permanent-intermittent Public Health Microbiologist (V0WA) position at salary level QT5-1525 ($4,836-$5,598) in the Health Services Department. FISCAL IMPACT: This action would result in an annual cost of $177,525.81 if the employees worked full time. It is anticipated that the cost of the three permanent intermittent positions will be totally offset by the cancellation of three temporary positions. There are no pension costs associated with positions classified Permanent-Intermittent. BACKGROUND: The Health Services Department is requesting the additon of permanent-intermittent positions because the work is temporary and hours vary over the course of a year. Also, per the recommendation of the Blue Ribbon Committee, three long term termporary employees will be hired into these permanent positions.
