APPROVE Appropriations Adjustment No. 5002 authorizing the transfer of appropriations
in the amount of $25,307 from the Office of the Sheriff (0255) to General Services - Fleet
Replacement (0064) for the replacement of one patrol vehicle.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This action increases appropriations in General Services - Fleet Replacement (0064) and
reduces appropriations in the Office of the Sheriff (0255) by $25,307. There is no additional
net county cost.
BACKGROUND:
The Office of the Sheriff is requesting this adjustment for the purchase of one replacement
patrol vehicle, which was recently damaged beyond repair. The vehicle to be replaced
(#2803) is part of the Fleet Internal Services Fund (ISF); however, due to the nature of the
accident, is not eligible for replacement through the ISF.
