HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 10122010 - C.45RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #25–046–11 with Shelter, Inc., of Contra Costa County, a non-profit corporation, effective August 20, 2010, to amend Contract #25–046–10, to increase the payment limit by $9,028, from $106,151 to a new payment limit of $115,179, with no change in the original term of July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 62% by Federal Substance Abuse/Mental Health Services Act (SAMHSA) and 38% by budgeted County General Funds. Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #25–046–11 will allow the Contractor to provide additional property management services, including preventive inspections of master-lease properties, through June 30, 2011. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this contract is not approved, HHISN clients will not receive additional support services to include preventive inspections of master-lease housing, and County will not receive $9,028 in Federal SAMHSA funding for these additional services.
