HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 10122010 - C.27RECOMMENDATION(S): Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution No. 20845, to cancel one (1) Senior Public Health Nutritionist (V9TE) (Represented)position (#9130) and add one (1) 40/40 Home Economist (V9WE) (Represented) position at salary level QT5-1376 ($4,173-$5,072) in the Health Services Department. FISCAL IMPACT: Upon approval, this action will result in a cost savings of $14,174.82. BACKGROUND: The Health Services Department is requesting the addition of a Home Economist position in the WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) program in order to meet the operational needs of the program. The position will be responsible for providing community education and training in the areas of nutrition; breastfeeding; good food and homemaking practices; and the effective utilization of resources.
