Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Donna Wigand), to
execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #74-364-1 with Victor Hong, M.D., a
self-employed individual, in an amount not to exceed $260,000 to provide professional
outpatient psychiatric services, for the period from October 1, 2010 through September 30,
2011.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% by Mental Health Realignment, offset by third-party billing.
No change in rates
BACKGROUND:
For a number of years the County has contracted with Medical, Dental and Mental Health
Specialists to provide specialized professional services, which are not otherwise available.
Under Contract #74-364, the Contractor will provide professional outpatient psychiatric
services for adults in West Contra Costa County, through September 30, 2011.
