Adopt Resolution No. 2010/490 to amend Resolution Number 99/656 excluding the
outstanding performance pay provisions for the classification of Health Services
Information Technology Supervisor (VCFB) in the Health Services Department. Effective
10/1/2010.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no cost associated with this action.
BACKGROUND:
Resolution 99/656 was adopted by the Board of Supervisors on December 14, 1999 to
implement performance pay plan for information technology classifications, included was
the Health Services Information Technology Supervisor classification. Health Services
Department is requesting to reallocate the classification on the salary schedule from salary
level ZA5 1884 ($6,900.86 -$8,388.03) five (5) steps to salary level ZA5 1884 ($6,900.86
-$9,247.81) seven (7) steps, resulting in merging the outstanding performance Steps 6 – 7

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If the action is not approved, the performance pay provision for the classification of
Health Services Information Technology Supervisor will cause internal compaction
amongst other job classes.
