HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09212010 - C.68RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Health Services Department, to execute a Purchase Order with AGFA Corporation to purchase a four year maintenance agreement, in an amount not to exceed $888,474.00 to provide Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS) for software support, hardware support and upgrades, for the period from March 30, 2010 through March 29, 2014. FISCAL IMPACT: Total cost of $888,474.00 is budgeted in the Hospital Enterprise I. This purchase order will also include training and miscellaneous programming services as requested by the County. The PACS system is used to archive, facilitate readings of, and ease the retrieval of Diagnostic Images (Radiology, CT Scans and others) receiving medical services at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Clinics. This system also facilitates around the clock diagnostic readings by our after-hours Radiology Department.
