Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Wendel Brunner,
M.D.), to execute, on behalf of the County, Interagency Agreement #28-697-8 with Antioch
School District, a government agency, to pay County an amount not to exceed $5,600, for
the Public Health Clinic Services Scoliosis Screening Project for its 7 th and 8th grade
students, for the period from September 1, 2010 through August 31, 2011.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Approval of this Interagency Agreement will allow Antioch School District to pay County
$4.00 per student to support the Public Health Clinic Services Scoliosis Screening Project.
No County funds are required and no increase in rate payable to County.
BACKGROUND:
Antioch School District has requested that Contra Costa Health Services, Public Health
Clinic Services, provide Scoliosis Screening Clinics at their middle schools for their 7th
grade girls and 8th grade boys, throughout the school year. By providing an outreach
