SUBJECT: Sale of Surplus Flood Control District Real Property

The Board of Supervisors, as the governing body of the Contra Costa County
Flood Control and Water Conservation District RESOLVES THAT:
The Board by Resolution No. 84/676, dated November 6, 1984, determined that
the County owned parcel described in the Notice of Public Land Sale is surplus and
that it is not needed for public use.
The Notice of Public Land Sale set 2:00 p.m. on December 15, 1984 at the
property location, as the time and place where oral bids would be received and
considered.
The highest bid received for the property, in accordance with the terms
and conditions of sale approved by this Board, was $83,000 by Erick A. Soldahl and
John G. Malone at which time the amount of $3,500.00 was deposited as an option-bid
deposit to secure completion of the transaction.
Said bid is hereby ACCEPTED and the Chairman of this Board is AUTHORIZED
to execute a deed to the highest bidder for the property and cause the same to be
delivered upon performance and compliance by the purchaser of all the terms and
conditions set forth in the Option to Purchase Agreement executed on December 15, 1984
by the high bidder.

A portion of Lot 31 as said lot is shown on the maq entitled "Concord Park"
recorded April 4, 1950 in Book 39 of Maps at page 46, Records of Contra Costa
County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the most westerly corner of said Lot 31 at the southeasterly
line of Todd Avenue; thence along said southeasterly line north 550 33' 23"
east 62.77 feet to the southwesterly line of the 29.00 feet in width strip
of land described under the heading of "PARCELS 1160 THRU 1164 INCLUSIVE"
in the Lis Pendens by the Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation
District vs . Aswath Maddagiri , et al , recorded February 17, 1983 in Book
11129 at page 685 of Official Records of said County; thence along said south-
westerly line (11129 O.R. 685) south 340 16' 54" east 63.08 feet; thence
southeasterly along the arc of a tangent curve, concave to the northeast
having a radius of 222.00 feet through a central angle of 140 42' 2811, a
distance of 56.99 feet to the northeasterly line of said Lot 31 (30 M 46') ;
thence along said northeasterly line, south 340 18' 07" east 37.20 feet to
the southeasterly line of said Lot 31; thence along said southeasterly line
south 550 33' 23" west 70.00 feet to the southwesterly line of said Lot 31;
thence along said southwesterly line, north 340 18' 07" west 156.67 feet
to the most westerly corner of said Lot 31, the point of beginning.
Containing an area of 10,236 square feet of land more or less.
