HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09212010 - C.40RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the County Administrator, or designee, to execute a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Judicial Council of California, Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC). FISCAL IMPACT: Approval of the MOU will enable the AOC to reimburse the County in the amount of $16,937 for maintenance and repair services provided to the Family Law Center located at 751 Pine Street, Martinez for the period of February 1, 2010 through May 1, 2010. BACKGROUND: The Trial Court Facilities Act of 2002 provides for the County to transfer responsibility for the funding and operation of all trial court facilities located in the County to the AOC. Pursuant to the Act, the County and the AOC have entered into a Transfer Agreement with respect to the Family Law Center located at 751 Pine Street, Martinez. In lieu of the AOC providing for the maintenance and repair of the Family Law Center, the AOC requested that the County provide these services.
