HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09142010 - C.92RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #74–399 with Contra Costa Interfaith Transitional Housing, Inc., a non-profit corporation, in an amount not to exceed $110,000, to provide community-based mental health services for seriously emotionally disturbed youth, for the period from September 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011. This Contract includes a six-month automatic extension through December 31, 2011, in an amount not to exceed $66,000. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 62% by Federal FFP Medi-Cal, 33% by State Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT), and 5% by Temple Isaiah of Contra Costa County. Under 74–399, Contra Costa Interfaith Transitional Housing, Inc. will provide community-based mental health services, through June 30, 2011. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: This program supports the following Board of Supervisors’ community outcomes: “Children Ready For and Succeeding in School”; “Families that are Safe, Stable, and Nurturing”; and “Communities that are Safe and Provide a High Quality of Life for Children and Families”. Expected program outcomes include an increase in positive social and emotional development as measured by the Child and Adolescent Functional Assessment Scale (CAFAS).
