HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09142010 - C.89RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Donna Wigand), to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #74–400 with Rainbow Community Center of Contra Costa County, a non-profit corporation, in an amount not to exceed $800,644, to provide Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) Innovations services for the period from July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011. This Contract includes a six-month automatic extension through December 31, 2011, in an amount not to exceed $400,322. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Proposition 63/MHSA. No County funds are required. BACKGROUND: This Contract meets the social needs of County’s population by providing MHSA Innovations services including social supports for lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, 2-spirit (LGBTQQI2-S). Under Contract #74–400, the Contractor will provide MHSA Innovations services through June 30, 2011.
