Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf
of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #26-644-3 with MGA Healthcare, Inc., a
non-profit corporation, effective June 1, 2010, to amend Contract #26-644-1 (as amended
by Amendment Agreement #26-644-2), to increase the payment limit by $221,000, from
$100,000 to a new payment limit of $321,000, with no change in the original term of
January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2010.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% by Enterprise I Funds.
BACKGROUND:
In April 2010, the County Administrator approved and the Purchasing Services Manager
executed Contract #26-644-1 (as amended by Amendment Agreement #26-644-2) with
MGA Healthcare, Inc. for the period from January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2010, for
the provision of temporary pharmacy staff at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and
Contra Costa Health Centers to provide
