HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 08102010 - C.26RECOMMENDATION(S): Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution No. 20821 to add one (1) permanent full-time Pharmacist I (VYWA) position at salary level QT5 1998 ($7725.46 - $8943.18) in the Health Services Department. FISCAL IMPACT: The annual cost is approximately $167,422.00 which is offset by Federal Information Technology Revenues. BACKGROUND: The Health Services Department is requesting to add a permanent full-time Pharmacist I position in the Pharmacy Division of the Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and its Health Centers . The new position will be dedicated solely to the implementation of a new electronic Pharmacy computerized system, and responsible for all modules - Bedside Medication Verification (BMV), Medication Administration Record (eMAR), and the Computerized Physician Order Entry - electronic dispensing and order entry of medications. This new system will decrease medication errors and improve patient safety.
