HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 08032010 - C.19RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Wendel Brunner, MD), to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Extension Agreement #28–321–1 with Mt. Diablo Unified School District, a government agency, to extend the term from June 30, 2010 through July 31, 2010, with no change in the amount payable to County of $15,000, which includes $1,000 for the purchase of up to fifty $20 gift cards to be given to participants in Family Literacy/Cares After-School Program. FISCAL IMPACT: None, there is no change in the Contract Payment Limit of $15,000, payable to County for the Family Literacy/Cares After-School Program. No County match required. BACKGROUND: On March 23, 2010, the Board of Supervisors approved Interagency Agreement #28–321, with Mt. Diablo Unified School District, which included an amount not to exceed $1,000 for purchase of up to fifty $20 gift cards to be given to participants in Family Literacy/Cares After-School Program, including 10 for Lucky’s, 20 for Food Maxx, and 20 for Safeway. Approval of Contract Extension Agreement # 28–321–1 will continue funding for Family Literacy/Cares After-School Program, through July 31, 2010.
