Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Haven Fearn), to
execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment/Extension Agreement #29–521–9
with First 5 Contra Costa Children and Families Commission, a government agency,
effective June 30, 2010, to amend Interagency Agreement #29–521–8, to increase the
amount payable to County by $225,525, from $903,463, to a new payment amount of
$1,128,988, and extend the term from June 30, 2010 through September 30, 2010.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Approval of this Amendment/Extension will result in an additional $225,866 in funding
from First 5 Contra Costa Children and Families Commission (Proposition 10 – Community
Substance Abuse Services funds) for the Corbin House Project. No County funds required.
BACKGROUND:
On September 15, 2009, the Board of Supervisors approved Interagency Agreement
#29–521–8, with First 5 Contra Costa Children and Families Commission, for the
