HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07272010 - C.53RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Art Lathrop), to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment/Extension Agreement #23-366-12 with Ecology and Environment, Inc., a corporation, effective August 1, 2010, to amend Contract #23-366-2 (as amended by Amendment Agreements #23-366-3 through #23-366-11), to increase the payment limit by $16,425 from $186,395 to a new total Payment Limit of $202,820, and to extend the term of Contract from August 31, 2010 through June 30, 2011. FISCAL IMPACT: This amendment is funded 100% by Federal Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) National Bioterrorism Hospital Preparedness Program funds, through the State Department of Health Services. No County funds are required. There are no increases to the rates set forth in the Contract. Environment, BACKGROUND: (CONT'D) Inc, for the period from April 1, 2006 through August 31, 2010, for the provision of emergency management consulting, and training services to facilitate a Countywide Exercise Plan for Hospitals, Clinics, Pubic Health and the Emergency Medical System. Approval of Contract Amendment/Extension Agreement #23-366-12 will allow the Contractor to provide additional emergency preparedness services, including training exercise, evaluation and corrective actions, through June 30, 2011.
