HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07272010 - C.08RECOMMENDATION(S): RECEIVE report concerning the final settlement agreement among Alameda County, Contra Costa County, and NEC, Inc, as recommended by County Counsel. FISCAL IMPACT: None. BACKGROUND: On April 13, 2010, the Board of Supervisors in closed session authorized the negotiation of a settlement agreement among Contra Costa County, Alameda County, and NEC, Inc. whereby all parties would release the other parties of all claims arising out of an agreement for purchase of an automated fingerprint identification system, and any agreements and negotiations related thereto, which would include claims that are both known and unknown. The agreement has been fully executed by all parties and is attached. The Board's April 13, 2010 closed session vote was Supervisors Gioia, Uilkema, Piepho, Bonilla and Glover - Yes.
