Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Donna Wigand), to
execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #74–370–1 with
Milhous Children’s Services, Inc., a non-profit corporation, effective April 1, 2010, to
amend Contract #74–370, to increase the payment limit by $90,000, from $166,752 to a
new payment limit of $256,752, with no change in the original term of July 1, 2009 through
June 30, 2010, and to increase the automatic extension payment limit by $45,000, from
$83,376 to a new payment limit of $128,376, with no change in the term of the automatic
extension, through December 31, 2010.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 62% by Federal FFP Medi-Cal, 33% by State Early and Persistent
Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment (EPSDT), and 5% by Mental Health Realignment.
Contract payment limit has increased due to additional clients being served.

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
with Milhous Children’s Services, Inc. for the period from July 1, 2009 through June 30,
2010, which included a six-month automatic extension through December 31, 2010, for the
provision of Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) to County referred-clients at its facility
in Nevada City.
Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #74–370–1 will allow the Contractor to
provide services to additional clients through June 30, 2010.
