APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Director of Child Support Services, or her designee, to
execute an Interagency Agreement with Sonoma County Department of Child Support
Services, a government agency, to pay the County an amount not to exceed $1470.00, to
provide Employment and Income Verification Records for the period of July 1, 2010
through June 30, 2011
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no net impact to the Department of Child Support Services' budget. All funds
received from the Inter-agency contract will be paid to the vendor for services delivered to
the contracting agency. The Department of Child Support Services is acting a fiscal
intermediary.
BACKGROUND:
The Employment and Income Verification Reports will provide information to the Agency
consisting of the name of the Non Custodial Parent's employer and income earned. This will
enable the Agency to issue an Income Withholding Order directly to the Employer and
result in Child Support payments to the Non Custodial Parent.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
This service will utilize automation to assist in expediting Income Withholding Orders.
resulting in child support payments to Non Custodial parents. Failure to approve will result
in extending processing time due to manual investigations of employers by staff.
