HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07132010 - C.58RECOMMENDATION(S): ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 20811 to add one (1) Deputy Sheriff (6XWA) position, at salary level VHX-1688 ($5,451-6,791) in the Office of the Sheriff, Field Operations Bureau - Investigation Division. FISCAL IMPACT: The cost of this action for Fiscal Year 2010-11 is $180,949.82 and 100% Federal funds. The funding is a combination of grant monies from the ADA Enforcement Team Recovery Act Program Grant and the Cal-MMET Recovery Grant. BACKGROUND: The Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office has traditionally been a participant in local drug task forces, by providing one (1) or more investigators to each unit. Reductions in the Sheriff's Office budget have resulted in the necessity to withdraw participation from these Task Forces for the past several years. This position will be assigned to Central Contra Costa Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET) and will coordinate cases particularly involving drug endangered children.
