HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07132010 - C.51RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE Appropriation Adjustment No. 5090 authorizing the transfer of appropriations in the amount of $25,100 from the Sheriff's Office (0255) to General Services - Fleet Replacement (0064) for the replacement of a vehicle outside of the regular replacement cycle due to collision. FISCAL IMPACT: This action increases appropriations in General Services - Fleet Replacement (0064) and reduces appropriations in the Office of the Sheriff (0255) by $25,100. BACKGROUND: The Office of the Sheriff will purchase replacement vehicles through General Services Internal Service Fund. The car being replaced was damaged by two Sheriff employees colliding; therefore, the financial burden for replacement is that of the Office of the Sheriff. Vehicle #2803 is one year old and has 29,412 miles on it. The cost of repair exceeds the value of the car.
