HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07132010 - C.51RECOMMENDATION(S):
APPROVE Appropriation Adjustment No. 5090 authorizing the transfer of appropriations in
the amount of $25,100 from the Sheriff's Office (0255) to General Services - Fleet
Replacement (0064) for the replacement of a vehicle outside of the regular replacement
cycle due to collision.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This action increases appropriations in General Services - Fleet Replacement (0064) and
reduces appropriations in the Office of the Sheriff (0255) by $25,100.
BACKGROUND:
The Office of the Sheriff will purchase replacement vehicles through General Services
Internal Service Fund. The car being replaced was damaged by two Sheriff employees
colliding; therefore, the financial burden for replacement is that of the Office of the Sheriff.
Vehicle #2803 is one year old and has 29,412 miles on it. The cost of repair exceeds the
value of the car.
