HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07132010 - C.46RECOMMENDATION(S): DECLARE vacant the District III seat on the County Library Commission previously held by Helen Pearlstein due to resignation, and DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to post the vacancy, as recommended by Supervisor Mary Nejedly Piepho. FISCAL IMPACT: None BACKGROUND: The Contra Costa County Library Commission was established by the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors in March 1991. The Commission was created to serve in an advisory capacity to the Board of Supervisors and the County Librarian. Helen Pearlstein notified Supervisor Piepho's office of her resignation effective immediately to the County Library Commission.
