Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf
of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #26-391-13 with Maxim Healthcare
Services, Inc., a corporation, effective March 25, 2010, to amend Contract #26-391-12, to
increase the payment limit by $210,000, from $275,000 to a new payment limit of $485,000
with no change in the original term of September 1, 2009 through August 31, 2010.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I.
BACKGROUND:
On October 13, 2009, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #26-391-12 with Maxim
Healthcare Services, Inc., for the period from September 1, 2009 through August 31, 2010,
for the provision of nursing registry services at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and
Contra Costa Health Centers.
Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #26-391-13 will allow the Contractor to be
paid for additional temporary
