Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Donna Wigand) to
execute on behalf of the County, Contract #24–950-43(10) with Psychotherapy Institute for
Individual, Family and Community Development, Inc., a corporation, in an amount not to
exceed $135,000, to provide Medi Cal specialty mental health services, for the period from
July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2012.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% by Medi-Cal Funds offset 50% State and 50% Federal.
BACKGROUND:
In September 2008, the County Administrator approved and the Purchasing Services
Manager executed Contract #24-950-43(7) [as amended by Contract Amendment
Agreement #24-950-43(8) and #24-950-43(9)] with Psychotherapy Institute for Individual,
Family and Community Development, Inc., to provide Medi-Cal specialty mental health
services, for the period from July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2010. Approval of Contract #24
950-43(10) will allow the Contractor to continue providing services through June 30, 2012.
