HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06222010 - C.70RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Wendel Brunner, MD), to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #25–043–9 with Anka Behavioral Health, Incorporated, a non-profit corporation, in an amount not to exceed $236,368, to provide operation of Multi-Service Centers for County’s Family Employment Resources and Services Together (FERST) Program, for the period from July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development. BACKGROUND: This Contract meets the social needs of County’s population by providing a variety of supportive services on a drop-in basis, including case management, food, showers, clothing, information and referrals, employment training, housing counseling, transportation and health care to homeless adults and families. Approval of Contract #25–043–9 will allow the Contractor to continue providing services through June 30, 2011.
