Against Domestic Violence to increase the payment limit by $155,525 to a new payment limit of $219,275 to implement promoting safe and stable families collaborative program with the Monument Community Partnership, for the period July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010. FISCAL IMPACT: $219,275: 15% Federal Promoting Safe and Stable Families (CFDA#93.556); 15% State Family Preservation; 70% Federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (CFDA #93.714) BACKGROUND: This contract establishes STAND! Against Domestic Violence as the lead and fiscal agent for a collaborative project in Central Contra Costa County under the Promoting Safe and Stable Families program. Against Domestic Violence BACKGROUND: (CONT'D) community of Central Contra Costa County that will provide comprehensive, collaborative, community-based continuum of service for low-income, at-risk families, children and youth. This amendment adds additional funding as a result of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: This contract supports all five community outcomes: 1) "Children Ready for and Succeeding in School"; 2) "Children and youth Healthy and Preparing for Productive Adulthood"; 3) "Families that are Economically Self-Sufficient"; 4) "Families that are Safe, Stable and Nurturing"; and 5) "Communities that are Safe and Provide a High Quality of Life for Children and Families" by providing women's support groups to teach non-violent parenting skills to at-risk clients.
