Standard Agreement (Amendment) #29-765-24 (State #04MP010, A8) with the State of California, Managed Risk Medical Insurance Board, effective April 1, 2010, to increase the amount payable to County by $59,326 from $5,476,623 to a new total Payment Limit of $5,535,949, with no change in the original term of July 1, 2004 through June 30, 2010, for County’s participation in the Access for Infants and Mothers (AIM) Program; and B. Standard Agreement (Amendment) #29-765-25 (State #06MP002, A5) with the State of California, Managed Risk Medical Insurance Board, effective April 1, 2010, to increase the Payment Limit by $436 from $3,671 to a new total Payment Limit of $4,107, with no change in the original term of July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2010, for County’s participation in the Access for Infants and Mothers (AIM) State Supported Services Program. No County match is required. BACKGROUND: The County has participated in the State-funded AIM Program since January 1992. This Program provides increased access to maternity, delivery and infant care services for low income women who have neither Medi-Cal nor private health insurance coverage. Under the Agreement, the Contra Costa Health Plan (CCHP) provides comprehensive medical care during a woman's pregnancy and delivery, and for sixty days post-partum. The AIM Program also provides comprehensive medical care to the baby during their first two years of life. Approval of Standard Agreement (Amendments) #29-765-24 and #29-765-25 will add funding to allow CCHP to continue participating and providing support services in the AIM Program, through June 30, 2010.
