FISCAL IMPACT: No fiscal impact. BACKGROUND: The Integrated Pest Managment Advisory Committee is charged with the following: Protect and enhance public health, County resources, and the environment;1. Minimize risks and maximize benefits to the general public, staff and the environment as a result of pest control activities conducted by County staff and contractors; 2. Promote a coordinated County-wide effort to implement IPM in the County in a manner that is consistent with the Board-adopted IPM Policy; 3. Serve as a resource to help Department Heads and the Board of Supervisors review and improve existing pest management programs and the processes for making pest management decisions; 4. 5. Membership on the Committee includes non-voting representatives from the Agriculture, General Services, and Public Works department and a representative of the County Pest Management contractor. Voting members include representatives from the Health Services Department, Storm Water Program, Public and Environmental Health Advisory Board, Fish and Wildlife Committee, and three At-Large public memebers.
