HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06222010 - C.34RECOMMENDATION(S): APPOINT Ms. Kay McVay to the Member-At-Large Seat Number 3 on the Advisory Council on Aging, as recommended by the Employment and Human Services Director. FISCAL IMPACT: No fiscal impact BACKGROUND: The Advisory Council on Aging recommends appointment of the above person to fill this vacancy on the Council in an effort to bring the Advisory Council to its required number of active members. Ms. McVay was approved by the Council's Executive Committee on May 5, 2010 and by the full Council on May 19, 2010. Once Ms. McVay is approved to fill seat number 3 on the Advisory Council on Aging, only the Clayton and member-at-large number 20 seats will be vacant. All other seats are filled or in the process of being filled. Ms. McVay was recommended for membership by two (2) seated members of the Council and is highly qualified for this position.
