HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06222010 - C.03RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Chair, Board of Supervisors, to execute the Eighth Amendment to Agreement No. 124 with Contra Costa Transportation Authority (CCTA) to increase the payment limit by $135,836 to a new payment limit of $5,096,376; $31,076 of the Eighth Amendment total is effective retroactively as of April 1, 2009. The Eighth Amendment also amends the scope of services to include additional right of way close out activities, transfer activities and property management of excess lands, effective June 22, 2010, 2010, for the State Route 4 East Widening Project – Railroad Avenue to Loveridge Road, as recommended by the Public Works Director. FISCAL IMPACT: There is no impact to the County General Fund. CCTA will pay 100% of the costs for Real Property staff; Account No. 3540. BACKGROUND: CCTA requires a variety of right of way services but has no right of way staff and has contracted with the County for these services. This amendment expands the total agreement value by $135,876 for a total agreement value of $5,096,376 and an addition in the scope of services to include property right of way close out activities, transfer activities, and property management of excess lands.
