HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06152010 - C.36RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Wendel Brunner), to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #25–047–14 with Anka Behavioral Health, Incorporated, a non-profit corporation, in an amount not to exceed $200,641, to provide support services for Contra Costa County Health, Housing and Integrated Services Network (HHISN) clients, for the period from July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 48% by Federal McKinney-Vento Grant, 35% by Federal Substance Abuse/Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), and 17% by Federal Centers for Disease Control (CDC) H1N1 funds. BACKGROUND: This Contract meets the social needs of County’s population in that it provides support services to County residents that are homeless and have a diagnosis of mental illness or a dual-diagnosis of mental illness and substance abuse.
