HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06082010 - C.50RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Randy Sawyer), to execute, on behalf of the County, Grant Award #28-817 from Union Pacific Railroad, to pay County an amount not to exceed $5,000, for the County’s Hazardous Materials Union Pacific Railroad Tank Care Safety project, for the period from April 1, 2010 through May 31, 2010. FISCAL IMPACT: Acceptance of this award will result in $5,000 from Union Pacific Railroad for the County’s Hazardous Materials Union Pacific Railroad Tank Care Safety project. No County funds are required. BACKGROUND: Approval of grant award #28-817 will allow Union Pacific Railroad to grant funding to the County’s Hazard Materials Division to support the Union Pacific Railroad Tank Care Safety project.
