Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee (Donna Wigand), to
execute, on behalf of the County, Standard (Amendment) Agreement #24–760–20 (#26342,
1) with the State Department of Rehabilitation, effective April 1, 2010, to make technical
adjustments to the agreement, with no change in the orginal payment to the County an
amount not to exceed $3,865,386 and no change in the term of July 1, 2009 through June
30, 2012.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Approval of this Amendment Agreement will continue funding by the State Department of
Rehabilitation for fiscal years 2009/2010, 2010/2011, and 2011/2012. No County funds are
required.
BACKGROUND:
On July 21, 2009, the Board of Supervisors approved Standard Agreement #24-760-19 with
the State Department of Rehabilitation, to pay the County to provide vocational
rehabilitation services for individuals with psychiatric disorders for the period from July 1,
2009 through

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
June 30, 2012.
Approval of Standard Agreement #24-760-20 will allow the state to make technical
adjustments to the agreement and enable the County’s clients to continue participating in
comprehensive rehabilitation plans that provide job skills development, career counseling,
coaching in job application skills, job development and placement, and follow-up services
with no change in the term through June 30, 2012.
