Approve and authorize the Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Health Services Department,
to renew the blanket purchase order with Hardy Diagnostics Corporation, in the amount of
$120,000 for media and reagents in the Microbiology Department at Contra Costa Regional
Medical Center, for the period July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011.
FISCAL IMPACT:
100% Enterprise Fund I.
BACKGROUND:
This purchase order requests is for media and reagents for use in the Contra Costa Regional
Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers Microbiology Department to culture and
identify pathogenic organisms from patients.
