HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 05252010 - C.18RECOMMENDATION(S):
ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 20787 to increase the hours of one Social
Service Program Assistant (X0SA) Position #5137 from 25/40 to 40/40, at salary level 255
1384 ($4206.28 - $5112.76) in the Employment and Human Services Department.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The increase in hours for this position are 100% funded with CalWORKs federal and state
revenue.
BACKGROUND:
The previous incumbent vacated this position for a full-time Social Service Program
Assistant position. Social Service Program Assistants in the Welfare to Work Units provide
employment case management to our one & two parent families-both underemployed and
unemployed.
There is no longer a need for a part-time SSPA position in this division; therefore we are
requesting to change this part-time (25 / 40 hour) Social Service Program Assistant position
(#5137) to full-time (40/40 hour). This will help maximize the calworks allocation and will
