BACKGROUND: May 16-22, 2010 is National Emergency Medical Services Week, with the theme of “ANYTIME. ANYWHERE. WE’LL BE THERE.“ This resolution will honor local EMS responders (emergency medical technicians, paramedics, police, firefighters, emergency nurses, emergency physicians, emergency medical dispatchers, EMS educators, EMS administrators and others) as well as raise public awareness concerning health and safety issues.
